01 · Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HireAI ("we," "our," or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and HireAI. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or uploading any data to the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

02 · Description of Service

HireAI is an AI-powered hiring intelligence platform that enables HR professionals and recruiters to:

• Upload resumes in bulk (PDF, DOCX, and other supported formats)
• Automatically extract GitHub profile links and other public identifiers from submitted resumes
• Analyze candidates' GitHub repositories, commit history, stars, and activity to assess technical depth
• Detect signals of AI-generated or inauthentic content within resumes and GitHub profiles
• Generate AI-driven candidate scores, rankings, and analysis reports

03 · Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement to use this Service. If you are using HireAI on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

HireAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these Terms.

04 · Credits & Payments

HireAI operates on a credit-based pricing model. Credits are pre-purchased and consumed per analysis action on the platform (e.g., per resume analyzed, per GitHub profile evaluated).

• Credits are purchased upfront and are non-expiring unless otherwise specified
• All credit purchases are final and non-refundable except as explicitly stated in our Refund Policy
• HireAI reserves the right to change credit pricing at any time; existing purchased credits are unaffected by pricing changes
• Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
• If a technical error on our end results in credits being incorrectly consumed, you may contact support for a review

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (Dodo Payments). HireAI does not store card details.

05 · Data You Provide

By uploading resumes and candidate data to HireAI, you represent and warrant that:

• You have a lawful basis to process the personal data of candidates whose resumes you upload (e.g., explicit consent, legitimate interest under applicable law)
• You have informed candidates or have the right to process their data for recruitment screening purposes
• You will not upload data of individuals who have not participated in your recruitment process
• You comply with all applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to GDPR, India's DPDP Act 2023, and any other regional regulations

06 · Acceptable Use

You agree not to use HireAI to:

• Discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics (race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, etc.)
• Use analysis outputs to make automated hiring decisions without human review
• Upload data for purposes other than legitimate recruitment and hiring
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the platform's AI models or outputs
• Share your account access with unauthorized third parties
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Misuse of the platform may result in immediate account termination without refund of remaining credits.

07 · Intellectual Property

All platform technology, AI models, UI, branding, and proprietary methodology of HireAI are the exclusive intellectual property of HireAI and its founders. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal recruitment purposes only.

You retain ownership of the data you upload. By uploading data, you grant HireAI a limited license to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your candidate data to train our AI models without explicit permission.

08 · Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. HIREAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• AI-generated scores or authenticity assessments are 100% accurate
• GitHub data fetched from third-party APIs is complete or up-to-date
• Analysis results are suitable for any specific hiring purpose

HireAI is an early-stage product. Features may change, be deprecated, or behave unexpectedly. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability.

09 · Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HIREAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Hiring decisions made based on platform outputs
• Loss of data or business opportunities
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated reports
• Third-party API downtime affecting data availability

In no event shall HireAI's total liability to you exceed the amount of credits you purchased in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10 · Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. HireAI may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we cease operations.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Any unused credits are subject to our Refund Policy. We will handle your data per our Privacy Policy retention guidelines.

11 · Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users via email or an in-app notification at least 7 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
